A digital art piece Dani did based on what she felt while listening to the Arctic Monkeys song Secret Door, from their album Humbug. Dani honestly no idea how many brushes she used for the foliage and the grass and what not but it was A LOT. So many brushes layered over one another on the canvas. Did some varying blur effect/filter on the floating islands (mid to far distance) to give some kind of "depth" feeling. Had some difficulty drawing Alex Turner's Humbug era hair from the backside here-
(Wouldn't say this piece fits the nature of the song that inspired it but it was a good experimental piece.)
Dani is a Malaysian hobbyist artist who tries to encapsulate and interpret emotions into her art through drawing often by means of various colour palettes or combinations, be it traditional or digital works. She will also attempt to try and draw out concepts residing in her head if motivated enough.
Dani is also a busy student juggling university time and leisure time to come up with her art pieces. She promises to never force herself to come up with a piece to avoid unnecessary stress and possible anhedonia and as such, art production may slow down sometimes.
