With the end of the epidemic getting closer, it's time to start asking ourselves what other disasters this decade may have in store for us. I decided to go through the options, by making a series of highly detailled illustrations. In every drawing, a different historic location in the city of Ghent (a.k.a. "Area 9000") is hit by a new kind of calamity; ranging from world-threatening alien-invasions to collisions with a sentient 15th century canon.
This drawing was made with a kuretake nib-pen and black indian ink on a 28*36cm Steinbach paper, and digitally colored.
This is a gallery-quality giclée art print on 100% cotton rag archival paper, printed with archival inks. Each art print is listed by sheet size and features a minimum one-inch border.
