This started off as a bad pun about the Alphaville song "Big in Japan", but then I really got into it and had so much fun creating this scene! The kanji read "Nihon ni ton" - pig in Japan!
I'm Katja, a cartoonist and professional photographer from Germany.
My art is mainly inspired by my two dogs, Georgie and Fergus and my childhood budgie, over time their cartoon versions turned into their own people with their own personalities and quirks and I love coming up with new adventures for them!
What else? I love to travel around Europe with my family, read, sew, walk with my dogs, play boardgames and of course draw and take pictures.
