My desire for this painting was to illustrate how all of the prophets of scripture are connected. In this scene are Isaiah, Ezekiel, Moroni, and Joseph Smith, the first prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and translator of The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ.
This artwork is currently on permanent display at the Church History Museum in Salt Lake City, Utah.
David "HABBENINK" Habben is an artist, illustrator, and educator. Based in Utah, he is a graduate of Brigham Young University and The University of Utah and was a Children's Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in 2008. His work can be found in a wide variety of media, including children's books, magazines, advertising campaigns, theatre posters, and even snowboards.
