I illustrated this portrait for John Muir Day this past year in response to the attacks on our public lands. As a hiker and a lover of wilderness areas I have a strong connection to Mr. Muir. Now more than ever we need his conviction and dedicated to our unique public lands- once they're gone they're gone for good.
