First painting of my ''Halownest Revisited'' collection.
Hollow Knight is, by far, one of the most beautiful and powerful games I have ever played. Hence, I knew I had to paint this level, one of my favourites, the first chance I had. I listened to “Crystal Peak” and “Forgotten Crossroads” on repeat whilst painting this.
Working on such a small scale was quite the unexpected challenge - the little Knight, for instance, is smaller than my thumbnail!
This piece was created using Sakura watercolours on Arches 100% cotton cold-press paper.
