This is from a series of pieces I created the last three weeks of my Dad’s life. He was in the hospital for a few days and then in home hospice for two weeks. #artforhealing

Oct. 29, 2021 is the day my Dad died at home in hospice. he was no longer eligible, mentally and physically, to go through the death with dignity process so my family watched him essentially starve to death as he rapidly lost the ability to swallow the last two weeks of his life.
