Blade Runner is one of my favorite films, and I've easily seen it (in its various release incarnations) upwards of a hundred times. The irony isn't lost on me that I'm done a digital painting for a film that was the last film ever made with 100% in-camera effects.
Rachael was a fascinating character and her reappearance in Blade Runner 2049 was the gut punch that inspired me to make this piece.
