A few nights ago I found myself in a dream, walking along a risen, dirt path. Both sides of the path overlooked farm fields. At a point I looked down into the fields to see short, wild shrubs and rows of vivid, pastel colored flower bushes. The entire scene looked painterly. Among the flowers I saw jet black animals playing among the flowers. A wolf poked its head out from one of the bushes. It was completely still, watching me as I walked by. Their presence filled me dread.
