1K stands for one thousand, as for one thousand people who was following me and my work in 2017.
1K features a punk girl and is the fourth piece in the PUNX NOT DEAD series I drew in 2017. I focused on representing elements from an urban, degradate environment. Each piece features a dark, troubled character surrounded by cigarettes, alcohol and metal pins. References to the world of graffiti and punk-hardcore music are abundant. In each piece there are also mentions to local artists (graffiti writers and punk-hardcore music bands - including some friends of mine).
