They are the protector of the shinto shrines. This illustration is an accumulation of things I saw and collected during my visits to shrines in Kyoto like incenses, fans, lanterns god-mouth sake, lucky charms and the no face from Ghibli's 'spirited away', just because I love the movie and the no face. Its a bit hidden tho. The Kirin Lemon drink might be random, but it is what I used to get from the vending machines before going on a trip to a new shrine.
