Poster illustration done for the 2015 edition of Blood Window, a latin american fantastic & horror film market created by Ventana Sur / INCAA. In this edition the idea was to present tribute to local fantasy, so the image shows some of the native myths and popular creatures of the region, such as La Llorona, the Invunche and the Chupacabras. All of them reunited on a ritual cinema session, headed by the Kalku, a mapuche dark sorcerer.
Influenced by both academic drawing and pop culture (comics, cinema, sci-fi, horror, animation and videogames) my illustrations are usually dark-themed, but colorful in their execution.
I mostly work as Concept Artist in cinematography, advertising and animation, also as Poster Artist for film festivals and movies (specifically horror, fantasy, and sci-fi genres), and rarely as cover artist.
