Francisco Galarraga grew up in Arizona and Ecuador. He received an MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from SVA, NYC, in 2015. He works as an illustrator based in Quito - Ecuador, specializing in bright, detailed digital drawings, paintings, and illustration. He also oil-paints on the side, and has an interest in graphic design and other editorial projects. In 2015, his GRECO//ROMAN project was selected to be featured on "Latin American Illustration 4" (LAI4).
Since 2010 he also helps manage the ecuadorian collective "Ilustradores Ecuatorianos", which promotes illustration and other graphic arts in his native country, by producing interviews, ...
