That woman that I've drawn is my best friend, my reference - the photograph in which she is walking away all camera-shy is clicked by her friend. I saw in my head what can come out of that photograph and.
I've tried to portray an aspect of her that I deeply respect - her determined spirit - once she has an idea; you cannot dissuade her from pursuing it, her gentleness - the curve of her hand, her solitary side; a side that influenced me to go solitary more often and see what I find, her wild hair which I love and understand the struggles of taming because I too have hair that has a mind of its own, and her eternal love for walking.

I work in traditional mediums and focus on story-telling through conceptual art. I love fantasy fiction, dinosaurs, dark chocolate and the texture of oil paint.
