inspired by cosmic horror masterpiece written by Robert W. Chambers. I am a fan of classic tales of terror, love the work of Edgar Allan Poe and Lovecraft, but The King in Yellow changed my adolescence. I tried to capture as I imagined That King: Powerful, mysterious, a King with very few words to say, but very penetrating words. I imagined With Aldebaran next to him, and in His feet, the mythical Carcosa: a dimension beyond That reside only in our minds.
I am a 29 year old artist. I study Plastic Arts, mention Painting, at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). Interested in
philosophy, good movies and experimental music. My approach to art is divorced from very jovial ideas or "extremely optimistic"
tendencies. I think the "aesthetics of ugliness" is the ultimate tool to want to communicate something without moral commitments.
