This print is part of my botanical bug series. This series is about challenging your perceptions about bugs as gross or ugly by placing them in the forefront surrounded by beautiful flowers.
This print features two scorpions and poppies. I chose to use a blue colour palette to resemble blue and white pottery.
I'm an illustrator based in Dunedin New Zealand. I mainly work in ink but I'm starting to expand my horizons ;). Nature is a huge influence on me and my work.
