Pen and ink on bristol board
I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil in my hand. Comics were my first influence and eventually l learned the mechanics of reproducing art for commercial purposes. I went into advertising as a graphic designer and have been in the business for 40 years.
These drawings represent a diversion from the commercial work I have done. They are experiments done in pencil, pen and ink on 2 ply bristol board. I have done art digitally but I find drawing directly onto paper with my hands is creating something that actually exists.
