Fun Fact: Spam Musubi was created in Japanese Internment Camps in the United States. Japanese-Americans placed the canned meat on a block of rice and wrapped in nori in the tradition of omusubi/onigiri. Spam was widely available where the American military was present including Hawaii, South Korea, and the Philippines .
