Happy Halloween this is an Illustration/concept for a personal project of mine. Another reality that exists inside a storm, and endless Halloween festival
Lore:
"On a planet at war for more years than we have the heart to count, each nation would put aside their differences, trauma, and hate to spend one night a year as equals adorn with the most fantastic of costumes on what would become this planet's take on all Hallows Eve.
That is till one day, the day of peace no longer mattered, the children who went out that night turned to ash. Then as if to mock the planet, the Reality Storm that appeared here after Broken Monday, grew in the war-torn rubble separating the nations even more, the storm clouded the view of their enemies, making them appear less and less human.
But with time something curious happened, as if calmed by temperament, the storm would begin to slow on that ancient night of All Hallows Eve, villagers could come and go from the storm as they please, inside the storm it was as if there was memories of a time long far gone, embellished by the fantasies of their youth. The festival was a light for but one night, the ones who entered swore they even saw their dead loved ones dance alongside them once more.
It is because of this when a loved one passes, it has become new tradition to leave their body to the growing storm... so they too can join, The Endless Masquerade."
