This artwork was originally done in the course of the Instagram challenge of Inktober and features the Chinese deity of Quan Yin, or Guanyin, who is often symbolised as the goddess of mercy. Originally connected to buddhism, she is an East Asian bodhisattva associated with compassion and venerated by Mahayana Buddhists.
I'm an Estonian living in Japan.
My current focus in art is realistic drawings and surrealistic interpretations. David Bowie is the greatest source for inspiration, but I love doing customised, personalised portraits in general.
