The pictures show people from other countries connected to the city of Halle Saale in Germany, where they currently live. In this picture you see girl Maria from Russia.
This is a cyanotype. The double exposure was photographed with an analog large format camera. The negatives were enlarged on watercolor paper. Therefore you can see that the picture has a fine pattern. A 100 watt UV lamp was used as the light source. An analog enlarger was used to enlarge the negatives to cyanotype. This process took a long time as the power of the UV light was reduced by the enlarger. It took about 6 hours of development time per attempt to enlarge the image to 50x60cm. Several attempts (about 5-7) were made to get a perfect exposure. So I needed about 1 week for each motif until it was perfect.
