I had a very enjoyable evening capturing this beauty in the Cherokee National Forest. The patterns on the bark really appealed to me.
I love nature and use it as my inspiration for my landscapes and studies. I'm based in Tennessee, but am inspired by many types of landscapes. I normally work in oil and water color, but I also love sketching in pencil and ink.
