I wanted to play on color opposites here. The orange trees against the blue sky creates a feeling of happiness. I also tried to capture the light in the trees. This is a watercolor on 140lb cold pressed paper, 8X8.
I love nature and use it as my inspiration for my landscapes and studies. I'm based in Tennessee, but am inspired by many types of landscapes. I normally work in oil and water color, but I also love sketching in pencil and ink.
