Here the use of light was key. I wanted to relay the same feeling of aspiration the original sunrise conveyed to me. Color opposition and shape variety create movement here. An addition of inked trees provided bits of needed detail as well.
I love nature and use it as my inspiration for my landscapes and studies. I'm based in Tennessee, but am inspired by many types of landscapes. I normally work in oil and water color, but I also love sketching in pencil and ink.
