Here I employed a technique that involves taping the paper over white space for the trees. After the background was done, I used a palette knife for the dart areas on the birches. I love using color opposition to create interest.
I love nature and use it as my inspiration for my landscapes and studies. I'm based in Tennessee, but am inspired by many types of landscapes. I normally work in oil and water color, but I also love sketching in pencil and ink.
