Part of my "round the world" illustration personal series. I picked India because I wanted to experiment in drawing patterns and textures, and India has so much rich history and beautiful patterns to draw. I decided to illustrate an alleyway in India and get lost in its architectural elements.
Cristina Bencina is an artist & illustrator living in sunny Aurora, Colorado. Born on Long Island, New York, she studied illustration and received her BFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She creates work with digital, mixed media, and traditional linocut printmaking techniques.
