"Blood Brothers" is part of a series of paintings exploring the sublime in landscapes, both as agreeable horror and as quiet, intimate moments, to foster feelings of something small and infinite.
Corolyn Holub is an artist and creative professional working in Austin, Texas, who uses various mediums and techniques to to explore how intense, sentimental connections motivate future actions. She is interested in perceptions of place and being—of how one exists in the world and how that identification with place shapes our memories and interactions. She holds a B.F.A. in Studio Art as well as a Business Certification from The University of Texas at Austin.
