Courtland Blade is an American artist. Born in 1985 in Terre Haute, IN. Blade attended Vincennes University, the University of Indianapolis, and Indiana State University for his undergraduate work where he studied art. He completed his BFA at Indiana State University in 2008. In 2009 Blade moved to Boston Massachusetts to attend the School and Museum of Fine Arts Boston in affiliation with Tufts University on a Full Merit Scholarship, where he completed his MFA in Visual art with a focus on Painting and contemporary practices. He lives and works in Indianapolis IN.
