This Picture is supposed to depict a never ending spiral staircase. It was intended as an experiment with altering the perspective in a believable way in order to simulate a sense of vertigo and make it look more interesting. That considered realistic prospective was not the goal. This drawing was done initially with pencil then it was inked with a watercolor brush and Indian ink.
I like to create images that evoke some kind of emotion. I try not to get too hung up on any specific medium but instead attempt to utilize whatever techniques I feel will give the desired effect that I am looking for. I often will use traditional mediums such as pencils and ink accompanied with digital painting.
