Cecilia Méndez was born in Los Angeles. She was raised between the island of Ibiza and Florence, Italy.
Cecilia’s work focuses on figurative feminine imagery, depicting dreamy and sensual atmospheres with precise and undulating lines that along with an assortment of symbols such as insects, flowers, skulls and decorative patterns, tell a personal story in time. Even though the themes explored originate from her personal experiences, thoughts and feelings, the intention is that the message be interpreted subjectively.
Cecilia currently works and lives in Ibiza.
