Marine and submarine environments are something recurring in my work. As I have repeatedly stated, the depths of the sea give me a feeling of stillness and harmony and at the same time they also take on another value, a little more gloomy, that is, the "sinking" between thoughts and insecurities. I think it is a feeling common to many artists to not feel up to it, especially when you compare yourself to others. And then your art appears worthless, apathetic, and anxiety and failure take the place of creativity.
Especially this feeling of 'inability' many times overhangs me.
But art, in any case, remains the only weapon to break down this stalemate.
I’m Annachiara Riccardo, also known on Instagram as ”chia.illustrations”. I’m a young Italian artist. I love expressing my world through my art and I always try to create an emotive “bridge” with my observer.
I draw since I was three years old. Art is my escape from everyday greyness.
Welcome to my world. 🌸
