I was in Dubai in 2008, while the city was facing the economic crisis of 2008.
By the time the tower was called Burj Dubai.
Anyway it was a rather puzzling time, the city was empty. And it felt to me like being on another planet.
I come from the world of computers. Over the years I've been looking for a less synthetic form of expression.
So I learned analog photography with my mother's camera.
Now I do photographs using black and white films. I work on the scanned negative in the same way I do on the gelatin silver print in the darkroom. I use only free-softwares ( I'm addicted to the GIMP ).
I sometime enjoy a bit of color :)
