I am overjoyed to introduce "Savior’s Love," the latest piece in my "Portrait of Christ" series. This painting draws inspiration from John 13:34-35, where Jesus says, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." In this artwork, Jesus is depicted with a warm, gentle smile, looking to the side, his face illuminated by a background of golden light, symbolizing the love that He embodies and shares with us all.
The aspect of this painting that captivates me the most is the expression in Jesus' eyes. Even as they gaze away, they speak of His endless love and the deep compassion He holds for each of us. This gaze is a silent yet powerful testament to the love He commands us to share with one another--a love that reflects His own.
"Savior’s Love" is a manifestation of the core message of the gospel--the call to love as Jesus loves. Through this painting, my hope is to inspire those who see it to embrace and spread this love, to be living testimonies of Christ’s teachings in our daily interactions.
