I am delighted to present "My Teacher," a pivotal piece from my Easter Collection. This painting draws inspiration from the encounter between Mary Magdalene and the resurrected Jesus in John 20:15-16, a moment when the risen Lord was first mistaken for the gardener. "Jesus said to her, 'Mary.' She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, 'Rabboni!' (which means 'Teacher')."
In "My Teacher," Jesus is portrayed with a serene smile, His countenance aglow with white and golden light, symbolizing the purity and glory of His resurrection. This artwork seeks to capture the instant of recognition and joy when Mary Magdalene realizes that her teacher, her Lord, stands before her—alive, victorious over death, and the bringer of eternal hope.
