I am blessed to present "Healing Hand," the latest addition to my "Portrait of Christ" series. This painting is a heartfelt interpretation of the healing miracles of Jesus, inspired by the powerful scripture in Luke 4:40-41: "At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them." In this piece, Jesus is depicted with a compassionate smile, reaching out His hand towards the viewer, symbolizing His readiness to heal, comfort, and uplift.
The element of this artwork that resonates most deeply with me is the gesture of Jesus’ outstretched hand. It’s an invitation to each of us to step forward in faith and receive His healing touch.
