This piece was my first move into many layers, I used newspaper from the 1700's, chalk pastel, gesso, stains, inks, oils and acrylics. This in turn created something special reflecting the power of words in today's society.
A bullet can terminate a soul quite quickly and with ease, but the words we speak can linger for eternity effecting the way we feel, think and more so importantly; the way we carry ourselves.
