Under the right conditions the mycelium of sadness will sprout a sadboi (the grief ridden creature cousin of fungi). Although the sadboi is edible, it is not recommended to be eaten as it has a very bitter taste akin to disappointment. Not only that, the sadboi is a very cute creature that humans find themselves enamoured by. More often than not, humans attempt to adopt the sadboi and bring it home. This is met with some success, but if the sadboi is neglected, the mycelium will take root and you’ll soon find yourself overrun with sadness.
