The throne crumble's. Once, it is said that, the throne lived and thrived but how long as it been since anything other than weeds have grown in this once magical place? The court never speak above a whisper, fearing the gaze of the king, those who anger him have a way of disappearing and still, knowing this, she takes a step towards the throne towards him. She remembers the warmth of those eye's, the smell of his feathers when he picked her up and spun her. When had he last hugged her? She could not remember. Her chest was tight, she realised that she had been holding her breath, why was she so scared of her own father? As she took another step his eye's once so warm and full of love met her gaze...
