All proceeds of this illustration will be donated to kids and families suffering from DIPG (an inoperable brain tumour that targets children). My brother passed away at 14 due to this horrible tumour, there is no cure and has been no survivors. I wanted to depict my brother in the afterlife living freely in imagination and whimsy. I like to think that once our minds are free from our bodies they are able to soar the skies and exist without boundaries. This is how I like to picture the people we love that pass, living in a beautiful dream.
I'm a full time Canadian artist that focuses primarily on female form, nature, societal issues, surrealism and the occasional fan art.
