“It is absolutely necessary, for the peace and safety of mankind, that some of earth's dark, dead corners and unplumbed depths be left alone; lest sleeping abnormalities wake to resurgent life, and blasphemously surviving nightmares squirm and splash out of their black lairs to newer and wider conquests.”
-H.P. Lovecraft, At the Mountains of Madness

Through my art, I aim to illuminate the connections between art and science. My work explores the molecular and cellular underpinnings of life, the intricacies of nature, and earth's unsteadily shifting climate. In these themes, I seek to uncover the opposition between the optimism of scientific progress as a means to prosperity, and the pessimism of humankind's irreversible ecological impact on our planet.
