Ashley Yazdani is a picture book author/illustrator, traveler, and nature lover. She graduated with her MFA from the Illustration Practice program at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and attended California College of the Arts for her undergraduate education. She has taught illustration courses at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and at Towson University. Her debut picture book, A Green Place to Be, will be released on March 12, 2019 from Candlewick Press.
