Jason was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He studied Illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, and at the Wilaim de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He was awarded the Xeric grant in 2008 to publish his first graphic novel Mine, and has had his work recognized by the Society of Illustrators. He currently works as a staff illustrator at Thrillist Media Group.
