Suzanne Nielsen, born in Pasadena, California, began with dedicated parents framing her life with art and animals. Starting at the age of five, with both riding and painting lessons, she became immersed over the next decade in fusing these two passions together.
For several years she worked in the animation industry where she studied the anatomy of humans and animals, as well as character development, movement and story.
