Sunset Tide is a study on natural form and perceived movement. When I enlarged the subject, it transformed from a floral study into a dynamic quasi-abstract, allowing me to engulf the viewer in swirling petals.The natural colors I enhanced to mimic the hues in a vibrant sunset.
