“Music of the Spheres” incorporates symbolic imagery like roses and the planet Neptune to compliment an homage to the 2022 Lunar New Year’s “Water Tiger”. The piece was so named after the philosophic concept popularized by 16th Century astronomer, Johannes Kepler, who connected planetary movements with music. As a whole, the image is evocative of mystical and metaphysical ideas that honor one of the most admired and endangered animals.
I am a mixed media artist who loves recreating dynamic floral and animal subjects. My work uses intense color and brush work to evoke awe and wonder of the natural world.
