In myth and popular culture, crows and ravens are often associated with death, mystery, and foreboding. In reality, the Corvus genus are notably intelligent, social, and ingenious. “Birds of a Feather” depicts the playful nature of these birds, amidst a vibrant nebula. The naturally iridescent feathers are exaggerated to expose undertones of blue, purple, green, and red. Altogether, the image transforms modern expectations of common animals into creatures worth celebrating.
