Pencil on paper, with charcoal touches. (2017)
I use pencil and graphite like charcoal; I use charcoal like paint; and I use acrylic like oils. I work primarily in surrealism, photo/hyper-realism, portraits, and trompe l'oeil, capturing detail faithfully while skewing reality and exposing the psychological sharp edges. I am based in Washington, DC, and available for commissioned work in the DMV area.
