The Lapinth Hills, colloquially referred to as the “Bunny Hills,” are small by geozoological standards. Their active nature in warmer months makes the Lapinth Hills a challenging travel destination, and one best avoided by the beginner hiker. However, when lapinths settle down for the winter months, they seldom move except for the occasional twitch of the ear or nose.
Lapinths communicate by thumping the ground. The resulting vibrations can be heard—and felt—for miles around. Thumping serves as a territorial marker, signaling the location of the herd to other herds.
