"The Five Masters" are a set of drawings to honor my new adopted hometown of Waldoboro, ME: "Home of the Five Masted Schooner". My studio overlooks part of the old shipyard where that first five master - the Governor Ames - was built in 1888.
I'm an artist, illustrator, map-maker and educator living and working in Maine. I've created two books of illustrated maps, Plotted: A Literary Atlas, and Cinemaps: An Atlas of 35 Great Movies. My commercial clients include the New York Times, Esquire, Sports Illustrated, and many others, and I do a bit of gallery work as well.
This is a gallery-quality giclée art print on 100% cotton rag archival paper, printed with archival inks. Each art print is listed by sheet size and features a minimum one-inch border.
