It has the Hulk in it, Hulk rules.
I became a big fan of Hulk and the Avengers, Spiderman, Thor, Iron Man and the Fantastic Four by checking out hardcover versions of the comics at my local library in Albany, NY. They were collected editions of 4 issues of some of their very first issues, and many were classic Stan Lee and Jack Kirby comics. Hulk always kind of transfixed me, and that was heartily reinforced with me at age 11/12 when I started reading the Peter David and Dale Keown run on Hulk starting with Incredible Hulk 369 where Grey Hulk makes mincemeat out of an iteration of Freedom Force. So fun.
I'm an artist, illustrator, map-maker and educator living and working in Maine. I've created two books of illustrated maps, Plotted: A Literary Atlas, and Cinemaps: An Atlas of 35 Great Movies. My commercial clients include the New York Times, Esquire, Sports Illustrated, and many others, and I do a bit of gallery work as well.
